Find Your Path to Peace, Balance, and Well-Being
Are you longing for more peace, balance, and well-being in your life? Do you want to feel lighter, more confident, and at ease in your daily experiences?
Life in midlife can feel wonderfully full—yet also carry layers of worry, responsibility, and old patterns that surface unexpectedly. Maybe worry and restless nights leave you feeling drained. Perhaps old patterns of people-pleasing and boundary struggles still show up in ways you wish they wouldn’t. Painful memories, whether big or small, might still tug at you and shape how you see yourself. You may notice yourself reacting in ways that don’t align with the person you know you truly are.
You Are Not Broken
Here’s an important truth: you are not broken. You came into this world whole and complete. Along the way, life experiences shaped how you learned to cope—strategies that once helped you survive but may no longer serve the person you’re becoming.
Therapy offers a safe, nurturing space to release the weight of those old patterns, gain new insight, and step into your life with more freedom, confidence, and ease.

How I Work: Honoring Your Body's Wisdom
I believe the body holds much of our emotional story. In therapy, we listen to what your body has carried and discover new ways to heal and adapt.
My approach draws on evidence-based methods including:
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) – “Parts work” helps you understand and harmonize different aspects of yourself. It’s particularly useful for resolving adaptive patterns that no longer serve you in the current life situation,
- Somatic Therapy – Works with the mind-body connection and brings awareness to where the body is storing particular emotions and the emotional content of those sensations. It utilizes various breathing and body movements to assist in releasing the unresolved emotional content.
- EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) – Is a structured process for reducing the emotional intensity and vividness of traumatic experiences. It can be used for adverse childhood experiences, physical trauma, or a recent traumatic experience (big or small).
- All of these modalities are evidence based.

I am deeply grateful and appreciative for the healing work I was able to do with Lauren. I feel so much better, my relationships are better, and I have tools to navigate my internal dialogue in a healthy way. With Lauren’s compassion, insight and guidance I was able to make these shifts. I would definitely recommend her to my friends.
